PEN – Professionals Engaging & Nurturing

PEN offers a chance for professionals to actively engage with students while nurturing their curiosity and ambitions for the future. PEN is a program where professionals visit schools to give engaging presentations about their careers, sharing insights and experiences to inspire students in discovering their own career aspirations. Through these sessions, students gain exposure to diverse career paths, helping them explore their interests and set future goals.

DEER – Development of Education Enrichment Refunding

The Development of Education Enrichment Refunding (DEER) program is dedicated to broadening educational opportunities by funding afterschool classes in various creative and practical disciplines. Schools participating in DEER can offer supplies to help develop skills in typing, photography, cursive writing, chorus, dance, art, musical instruments, theatre, and more, helping students develop valuable skills beyond traditional academics. To encourage commitment and responsibility, participation in these enriching activities is attendance- and tardiness-reward based, ensuring students who consistently show up on time earn the chance to explore their interests while being recognized for their dedication. By fostering artistic expression, technical proficiency, and accountability, DEER creates well-rounded learning experiences that inspire students to discover new talents and passions.

CAT – College Access Trips

CAT is designed to give high school students from economically challenged backgrounds the opportunity to visit universities that offer full-ride scholarships. Through these trips, students gain firsthand exposure to higher education institutions, meet mentors, and learn about scholarship requirements. The program instills hope and inspiration, helping students see that financial limitations do not define their future. By experiencing campus life and engaging with professionals, students are encouraged to set ambitious goals, work toward academic success, and become the best version of themselves.

YES – Year End Success

YES is a school-based rewards program designed to encourage academic excellence and consistent attendance. Students who maintain high scores and strong attendance are treated to exciting monthly trips to places like petting zoos, fruit-picking events, museums, and other enriching experiences at no cost to their parent(s). At the end of the year, top-performing students enjoy a grand celebration with special trips to amusement parks, creating unforgettable memories while reinforcing the value of dedication and perseverance. YES makes success fun, inspiring students to strive for their best while enjoying well-earned adventures!

PLAY – Providing Learning, Activities & Yards

PLAY focuses on creating fun and enriching opportunities on school grounds by funding art supplies, sports gear, toys for field day events, and projectors for movie days. The program ensures that students can enjoy creative, active, and educational experiences in their school environment. Schools that do not have space or land will be taken to other neighboring school grounds that do, including the provision of transportation via school/coach bus.

GROW – Games, Recreation, Opportunities & Wellness

GROW is a program designed to create a safe, engaging, and motivating environment for students before the school day begins. Focused on schools in high-crime areas, GROW provides funding for indoor recreational activities such as air hockey, foosball, billiards, miniature golf, bowling, and corn hole, allowing students to start their day with positive interactions and stress-relieving play. By offering these activities in the morning, the program encourages students to arrive early rather than just on time, fostering consistency, engagement, and a sense of community. GROW helps students feel energized, focused, and ready to learn while promoting wellness, teamwork, and school spirit while developing socialization skills.
